Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you!  I am still processing the news, but I am very excited to receive a scholarship to study in Costa Rica this summer!  I am looking forward to everything this opportunity has to offer, and I am grateful to everyone with the National Spanish Examination for making this possible. ¡Mil gracias!

After one of my students gave a herculean effort to take candid photos of me teaching, it became apparent that it was like trying to get a crisp photo of a hummingbird...



...or that I might need to change the name of the blog to "La Profe con la Cara Rara"

 



So, here are a couple of posed photos of me with some of my students:




In the 2011-12 school year, I am teaching four sections of Spanish II Honors and two sections of Spanish I at R.C. Clark High School in
Plano, TX.  This year, I have a
total of 140 students.
